At Hannah and Luke’s wedding I ate a plate of bacon and sat on an electric fence. True story. Oh yeah, and Hannah and Luke got married and it was magical!!!

Hannah and Luke tied the knot at McCulloch’s Highland Vue Farms in Carlisle and it was the most spectacular morning wedding! And any wedding where I get to eat a plate of bacon is 100% awesome in my book. Their central PA wedding radiated their laid back and joyful personalities and a was filled to the brim with unique touches, bucking tradition where they wanted, and adding board games, a coffee truck, and lots of music.

Along with bacon I spent the morning eating up the sights and sounds that you only get to experience when two musicians get married. When I asked Hannah what kind of wedding planning advice she has for couples she gave this answer: “Do – pack the day with your favorite things even if they aren’t traditional! People will get on board with your excitement.”, and sure enough she delivered on her own advice! We played games, did custom crosswords, ate breakfast food 🥞 (yes that’s the third time I’ve mentioned breakfast food in one blog post and I’m not ashamed), and had an epic, fun-filled morning. Following suit on her comment about not worrying about tradition H & L performed a first duet in lieu of a first dance, and it was amazing. Hands down the best rendition of “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz that I’ve ever heard <- very radical statement. Then to top it off they each did a duet with their parents instead of the traditional father-daughter and mother-son dances. Cue the waterworks.

Oh yeah, and the electric fence. I sat on it when I backed up too far trying to get a shot of the full wedding party, but it’s fine, everything is fine. 😉
