Laura REALLY wanted to do an engagement shoot at Knoebels Grove to celebrate her and Kuchanda’s 1 year wedding anniversary, and I was REALLY excited about that! I can’t remember ever going to Knoebels (even though my mom says they took me when I was little) so it was the perfect reason to drive up to the boon docks of PA to enjoy an afternoon of vintage, amusement park fun! If you haven’t noticed yet, Laura and Kuchanda also brought their fur-baby, Dutch, to be in their photos, which was just another thing that made the day perfect.
On our way up to the Elysburg we also took the opportunity to stop in Centralia and snap a few pics on the Graffiti Highway. Centralia is an abandoned town that was cleared out years ago when an underground coal seam caught on fire, and since then it’s been a tourist attraction for those passing through. And seeing as we’re quickly approaching Halloween, the spooky vibes of the Graffiti Highway were timely.
Once we got to Knoebels it was all fun and games, literally. My sister, Maya, drove from Bloomsburg just to watch over Dutch Laura and Kuchanda rode rides and I snapped photos. It was truly a sweet day filled with laughter, cotton candy, white cheese and broccoli pizza (a Knoebels specialty), and too many photo-ops to count!
Thank you Laura and Kuchanda for taking me along on such a grand adventure!
If anyone is planning a Knoebels wedding, you should send me an email so we can chat 😉
